Tibetan Mandala Necklace
This beautiful necklace, in shades of green, orange, red and white, represents a Tibetan mandala. It consists of a pendant (diameter approx. 36 mm) and a 25 cm long chain (approx. 29 cm high in total, neck circumference 50cm). Brass material (copper-zinc alloy) and glass cabochon.
Tibetan mandalas are traditionally created on the ground with colored grains of sand, and sometimes over days or weeks by Tibetan Buddhist monks. The process of creating a mandala is a spiritual practice in itself, as it requires great concentration and deep meditation. The mandala is destroyed once it is complete, symbolizing the fleeting nature of existence.
