The Tok Sen hammer massage is an ancient Thai massage method known as Lanna Thai.

This set consists of 3 pieces:

1 Hammer or Mallet: 21 cm long and 8 cm wide
1 Chisel or Pestle with Rounded End: 18 cm long and 4 cm wide
1 Chisel or Pestle with Elongated End: 16 cm long and 4 cm wide

The wood used is Pterocarpus macrocarpus, commonly known as Burmese Padauk or Mai Pradu in Thai. This species is native to Southeast Asia, including Thailand, and is valued for its beautiful reddish-brown wood, highly prized for various craft and woodworking projects. This wood is very durable and resistant to both rot and insects, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
